Marium Agha (b.1982, Karachi- Pakistan) currently lives and works in Karachi, Pakistan. Practising primarily in mix media, Agha finds her theme in the Interpretations of Visual Imagery, Concepts and Theories which revolves around the trajectories outlined by borrowed cultures and ideals of self and others. Using yarn as her primary medium, she tries to make sense between the given real and supposed representational of everyday living
Agha completed her Bachelor’s degree from the Indus Valley School of Art & Architecture in 2006 and a Master’s in Fine Art from the University of the Art’s London, Central Saint Martin’s in 2009. She developed a keen interest in Curating Contemporary Art Exhibition and completed a course at the Chelsea College of Arts & Design, London in 2010.
